INVITATION FOR BIDS

CONSTRUCTION OF MEZZANINE FLOOR AT EXISTING ARRIVAL CUSTOM OFFICE AT BIA, KATUNAYAKE

Chairman on behalf of the Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) limited invites sealed Bids from eligible and qualified bidders for Bid for construction of mezzanine floor at existing Arrival Custom Office at BIA, Katunayake. as described below and estimated to cost of 47 million + 10% contingencies approximately. The work to be carried out in accordance with the specifications, bill of quantities and the drawings. The period of completion is 90 Days from the Start Date.

Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding Procedure. 
To be eligible for contract award, the successful bidder shall not have been blacklisted and shall meet the following requirements:
Contractors registered for Grade C4 or C5 – Building Construction with the Construction Industry Development Authority (CIDA)- former ICTAD with experience in similar works. 

Interested bidders may obtain further information from Head of Civil Engineering (P&D) Division, Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited, Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake on Telephone No. 011-2263502, and, inspect the Bidding document at the office of the Supply Chain Management Division, Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited, Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake from 09.00 hrs. to 15.00 hrs. on week days from 02.04.2024  to 22.04.2024.
A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the Chairman, Procurement Committee No. 01, Supply Chain Management Division, Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited, Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake, from 02.04.2024   until 22.04.2024  from 09.00 hrs to 15.00 hrs. upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rupees 10,000/= The method of payment will be in cash.
Bids shall be delivered in duplicate to the address - Chairman, Procurement Committee No. 01, Supply Chain Management Division, Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited, Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake on or before 14.00 hrs on 24th April 2024. Late bids will be rejected.  Bids will be opened soon after closing in the presence of the bidders’ representatives.

All Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid security (on demand Bid Bond) in the amount of Rupees Five Hundred Thousand (Rs.500,000.00) issued by Institutions listed in the Bid Document or a receipt of the Cash Deposit should be submitted with the Bids. All Bidders or their authorized representatives are invited to attend the Pre – Bid meeting, on 09.04.2024 at. 10.00 hrs at the Conference Room Civil Engineering (P&D) Division, 4th floor, New Administration Building Complex, BIA, Katunayake.
